Months ago, I hand-printed an exclusive Lander wallet for db clay with the lyrics to Spinning Me and golden trees. Earlier today db clay launched a gallery of 500 one-of-a-kind wallets by various artists called Puzzle and I’m pleased to announce that the Lander wallet has already sold (on day 1) for $98. Some lucky gentleman out there is carrying a very unique wallet with lyrics that he has no idea where they came from and probably has no idea what Lander is.
The best fans outfit their children in Lander attire. Because I print Lander Tees and other merchandise myself, from time-to-time people send me clothing for their babies and I put the Lander touch on it. This Lander fan in particular is the son of my best friend and the inspiration for the song Clementine. When I found out he would be having a child, I surprised him with a stylish Lander onesie and trusted it would get him through the hard times. Thanks Joe for the picture- I’m glad to see you’re raising your son right!
It is no secret that mySpace is a lead generating machine. It has always been a great vehicle for corralling music lovers and allowing them to listen to loads of indie music, but now, Snocap has found a way to help those browsers actually buy your music directly from your mySpace page! I got a call from CD Baby today and they asked if they could help me install a Snocap store-front to the Lander mySpace page as a BETA for the Snocap/mySpace integration. Earlier this month another Lander fan was born… literally. Long time fans and friend Jeff and Hayla Sanford had their first baby Kellen in the early days of June and they’ve already started teaching the little guy right from wrong and the value in good choices. I screen printed a Lander onesie for the young couple as a gift so they recently sent me this picture of the newest Lander fan and his custom merchandise. If you recall, Lander performed at Jeff and Hayla’s wedding last summer so this new addition brings us full circle. Congrats Jeff and Hayla… glad Lander can be a part of your life.

The holiday’s are here so we’re excited to announce a new line of women’s t-shirts! A new batch of Shade shirts are printed and ready to go out. This theme was for our song Whistle Stop- trains. We went with ivory Shade quality t-shirt with a brown train and orange bridge schematics. All of the shirts are hand printed by the band and completely one-of-a-kind prints (the image above is a good representation but they will all vary slightly). The last shirts were a great success so grab these one’s while you can- we have a few of the green shirts left over so let us know if you want the last few. Whistle Stop
In the process of screen printing our merchandise, I stopped to look at the screen in the light. What you’re seeing is a piece of art by Lander that I call gold leaves curl. The screens themselves were caked with paint from the tshirts. The overlapping of colors and stencils made for a great collage. I thought they were such cool images and colors that I smashed them together and brought them here. Take a walk, enjoy the art and listen to the complimentary music as you browse.
what I feel like as winter comes
I’m excited to announce the first line of Lander merchandise! We’re introducing a line of limited t-shirts for women- Lander for Shade Clothing. We’ve teamed up with my sister’s company Shade Clothing and we’re producing a line of limited Lander tops for women, designed and printed by yours truly. All shirts are one-of-a-kind and may vary from the image- but you get the idea. Shade is gaining fans everywhere because of the quality and fit of the shirt.
